2025 NSW Anti-slavery Commissioner's Commendations

The NSW Anti-slavery Commissioner’s Commendations are awarded to those who have made a significant contribution to the anti-slavery movement in NSW and beyond.


We are excited to invite you to nominate candidates for the 2025 NSW Anti-slavery Commissioner’s Commendations.

The Commendations are awarded in alignment with the five categories outlined in the NSW Anti-slavery Commissioner’s five strategic priorities, set out in the NSW Anti-slavery Commissioner’s Strategic Plan 2023-2026: Working Together for Real Freedom.

⭐ Achievement in Enabling Remedy
⭐ Achievement in Fostering Responsible Business Practices
⭐ Achievement in Changing the Narrative
⭐ Achievement in Developing a Community of Purpose

Eligibility: Any individual, organisation or collaborative initiative that has made a significant contribution since 1 July 2024 to the anti-slavery movement.

How to nominate: Simply fill out this form by clicking on 'next' below.

  • Complete the nominee information section, include the individual’s name, organisation or collaborative initiative, and their contribution to at least one of the Commissioner's strategic priorities, along with a brief explanation of that contribution.

  • Complete the nominator information section, this information will not be shared with the nominee.

  • Click 'submit' once you have completed both sections, and your nomination will be sent for review.

Please note that self-nominations are not accepted.

Nominations will close on 15 October 2025.

Recipients will be announced at the Celebration Dinner on 5 November 2025 in Wollongong.
